Here you will find many answers to commonly asked questions regarding your design consultation.

What is the benefit of a design-only consultation?
A design only consultation gives you maximum flexibilty when it comes to your kitchen renovation. For a small fee you receive kitchen plans. This means you can pass them on to your builder, use them to get quotes, or come back to us for unbeatable service and prices. This service sets us apart from most kitchen companies in Australia. We want you to have our designers input, and for a small fee you won’t regret it.
Do I have a choice of suppliers?
Ofcourse you do! That is the whole point. With a design only service you can choose your suppliers through friends recommendations etc. or use our recommendations too. The benefit is that you have the right design, layout and materials.
Do you only do kitchen design consultations?
Our passionate designers at Blue Tea can also design your bathroom or colour scheme for your space too. Contact us to chat further about your project.
What is the kitchen design process?
The design process is a three hour on site consultation. We measure, then we understand your needs and requirements and design a layout to suit the function and look of your space. We make material, colour and hardware recommendations. You receive hand-drawn scale plans and elevations of the space. 3D CAD drawings available at an additional price.
What is the bathroom design process?
The design process is a two step process. First we go over your dimensions and bathroom tastes/ look/ outcome. We then come back with suggested tiles, fittings and fixtures. If custom caibnetry needs to be designed, you will receive the specifications for this too.
What does a colour consultant do? :
  • Recommend and design a colour scheme for your living spaces.
  • Assess the bigger picture of your space, including furniture, fittings, paintings etc., and recommend beautiful complementary palettes.
  • Help you avoid expensive mistakes caused by choosing poor colour combinations.
  • Save you money by saving time and costly errors.

.

I haven’t started building yet, but i would like my kitchen or bathroom designed. Is it possible?
Certainly. We are happy to work of plans. Infact, it is advantageous so you can get the right function for your kitchen or bathroom. A colour consultation is recommended after the building process.
